The answer according to Ford

Thank you for your letter regarding the use of bio diesel in your mondeo 2.2 tdci. Bio diesel is strictly forbidden for use in our highly sophisticated range of diesel engines, we have not carried out any commercial tests with them using this type of fuel, therefore we are unable to advise you what modifications you may need to carry out, or what effects may occur from its use, or any implication on warranty. we can confirm there are no immediate plans to implement the use of this alternative fuel for the mondeo 2.2 tdci engines.
