the best way to get a good free handle is to remove the door card and spray wd40.

Sticking Door Handles

Problem

Rear door handles tend to stick open, so that you can't shut the door when it's open.

Solution

The answer is to lubricate them... Spray some WD40 up inside the handle and open/close it lots...
