Here is a list of all the bits you'll need to build a Perfect XR2 Replica.
Parts required:
Interior
XR2 or Ghia Dashboard and Instrument Cluster.
XR2 console.
XR2 Steering Wheel.
XR2 Roof Clock and Mounting Bracket.
A, B and C Roof Pillar covers.
XR2 Dark Grey Sunroof Handle ( if fitted )
XR2 Seats.
Matching XR2 Door Cards
XR2 'Fluffy' Gray Carpet.
XR2 Dark Grey Roof Lining.
XR2 Dark Grey Sun Visors.
XR2 Dark Grey Roof Grab Handles.
XR2 or Ghia Rear Door Card Speakers.

Obviously it is not necessary to go to these lengths to build a look-a-like XR2 from a base Fiesta.
As the original vehicle was not an XR2, the vehicle will never be allowed to be registered as an XR2 unless you started with a brand new and unregistered XR2 shell. There are apparently a few of these still around, but good luck with finding one.
If you intend on replacing the original engine with that from an XR2, I'd recommend fitting the XR2 brake system first.
If you are upgrading the Brakes to XR2 Specification, I would recommend changing ALL of the parts at once as the XR2 Drums and Calipers require the higher volume provided by the larger XR2 Brake Servo.
If you are intending on replacing the engine and dashboard, it may be wise to get an XR2 wiring loom complete as it will save cutting the existing wiring loom.
Note. There is a lot of debate regarding the upgrade of the braking system. My personal opinion is that Ford must have spent a lot of money on research and development of the braking system on the XR2. Which will be why FORD put the braking system in as they did.
Ultimately the choice is yours.
