1.1 Front and Rear Position Lamps

- Check Seat Belts Push in ok and Lock When you Pull the Belt
- Check Condition of Belt i.e. NO Splits
- Check Tyres for Wear
- Inner/Outer Edges Slight Wear Might be ok
- Check C/V Boots Inner/Outer
- Steering Rack Boots
- Check Pads and Discs for Bad Wear
- Bonnet Opens
- Exhaust Does not have a Bad Blow and Excess Corrosion
- Check Door Mirrors as a Distorted Drives Side one will Fail the MOT
- Seat Belt Stalk Trim (no kidding, just glued the thing on and it's been fine since)
- Excess Corrosion on Brake Lines
- Brake Hoses Rubbing on Tyres (turn the wheel to full lock both ways to check)
- Excess Corrosion on Power Steering Lines (especially cooler lines)
- Pedal Rubbers
- Roll Bar Bushings
- Rear Roll Bar Bushing Links on the Mk 1's
- Tie Rod Ends (inner as well, in the rack, shake the steering back and forth and check for movement)
- Check Ball Joints for Play
