Service Interval Warning Light - Mk1/Mk2 with AWS

Background The spanner warning light on the AWS panel is time and milage sensitive, and will light up approximately every 10,000 miles or every year.

Resetting To the right of the spanner symbol, there is an arrowed box with a pin hole in the centre of it. The box doesn't light up. To reset the service interval warning light, push a pin into the hole and hold for about 3 seconds with the ignition on. The service timer will reset and the light will go out.

Failing this, some Mondeos may have a little button to the top left inside the glove box. Press this for a few seconds with ignition on...
