Wiki Mark-Up

The Wiki editor uses a specialized form of mark-up to create links, headers, lists, and other display items. The best way to learn the mark-up is to edit current articles. By looking at the source, you will gain knowledge by example. Here is a rundown of mark-up codes you will find useful while editing and creating articles.

Internal Wiki Links

Links to internal pages use the following mark-up:

LinkText
Example: My corps is awesome!

LinkText can be left out:

Example: The Cadets are awesome!

My corps is awesome!

The Cadets are awesome!

External Web Links

Links to external websites use the following mark-up:

[URL LinkText]
Example: The Blue Devils are awesome!

Please use external links sparingly. In general they should only be used under an "external links" heading at the bottom of an article. LinkText can be left out, in which case the link will be displayed as a footnote. This technique is not recommended.

The Blue Devils are awesome!
