How to unlock your Mk3 Mondeo Speedo

Instructions on how to unlock your digital display:

1. Have the engine running and press and hold the trip mileage reset button.

2.While holding down the trip mileage reset button turn the engine off.

3.Still with the trip mileage button held down start the engine.

4.After a couple of seconds the word ‘test’ will appear.

5.Now release the mileage reset button and use this to scroll through the various readings. Functions

2 Dial Test

3 Bulb Test

4 Diagnostic Check

5 Diagnostic Check

6 Clock Type (shows ?date 44? if UK)

7 Diagnostic Check

8 Speed MPH

9 Speed KPH

10 Revs

11 Fuel

12 Engine Type

13 Temp of Engine

14 Battery Voltage

15 Diagnostic Check

16 LCD Display

Alternative Procedure:

2.While holding down the 2 buttons turn the engine off.

3.Still with the 2 buttons held down start the engine.

4.After a couple of seconds the word ‘test’ will appear.

5.Now release the mileage reset button, then the unit button and use this to scroll through the various readings.
