Bluetooth connection reset for TravelPilot EX systems
Sometimes the bluetooth phone connection on Travel Pilot EX systems dies for no apparent reason. The bluetooth device "Ford Audio" can not be discovered when you try to pair your phone with the system and the phone button only mutes the current audio source.
To regain full bluetooth support one may disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and try again. A less drastic approach is to remove fuse 70 and 71 in the glovebox fusebox for at least 30 seconds (ignition off).
When the unit is turned on again the bluetooth device "Ford Audio" is discoverable and voice command (if available) is back to normal.
