Firstly, please be very clear that I do not encourage or condone speeding. Speed limits are there for a reason, especially those in built-up areas, so please stick to them.

An ever increasing number of forces are releasing information regarding camera locations because many of the public believe they are being "entrapped" by cameras obscured from sight. By making this information available, the forces hope that they will loose that image and so become less alienated by drivers.
