Ford DVD Touchscreen Sat Nav Diagnostics Method Press and hold the MENU button for 10 seconds until the unit beeps and displays the CODE ENTRY screen.

Type in 6414 and ENTER.

UPDATED - Access further diagnostics and tests by keying in 842520 then ENTER

Gives you diagnostic functions for this unit.

IMPORTANT NOTE DO NOT SELECT SOFTWARE UPDATE. I did this and froze the unit, need to goto Ford now to get them to sort it.

Reference to the above post I was wondering if Ford were able to rectify the problem as I have unfortunately selected update software and now have the same problem as above. Ford say I need a new radio etc. at £650 I'm not so sure. Please can anyone help. P.s. I am a new member so bear with me while I get the hang of it. Many Thanks
